I was an owner/optometrist of a very successfull multi unit private Optometric practice, in Chicago, for over 15 years. In that capacity, I led a team of doctors, opticians and ancillary staff and grew the practice sales and profits each and every year.
For the past 18 years I have been part of Eyexam of CA. I was the Managing Optometrist of the most profitable location in the area for five years during which time I earned the top awards available in the company. For the next five years I was the regional manager for eyecare, overseeing over 20 locations. In this capacity, I grew sales and oversaw the exemplary patient care provided by all the doctors in the region. I returned to patient care after that and was the Managing Optometrist for the Mission Valley Eyexam of CA location and then moved to the La Jolla EECA as MOD until I took over as the leaseholder at this location for the past 2 years. We have been able to add medical eye care to our location in order to care for a wider range of patients and their families.
Throughout my professional career, I have been involved in developing new and emerging technologies in the field, including contact lens development and refractive surgery co-management.
